Archimandrite Robert Taft, SJ, recorded over 50 lectures at Orientale Lumen Conferences and exclusively for OLTV which have been transcribed and edited into a 6-volume collection titled Lectures from Rome. This is Volume I of the series on Philosophy and Prayer which includes Father Taft’s first writing, his master’s thesis on the philosophy of Vladimir Solovev and his retreat lessons on liturgy as a model for prayer.  Each volume has Forewords by Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and Cardinal Claudio Gugerotti.  This volume has an Introduction by Father Robert Slesinski and contains Taft’s master’s thesis on Vladimir Solovyev and his retreat lectures on liturgy as prayer.  See the Table of Contents below.
